Mr. Kersey's Homework Page
Hello Students and Parents. This is where you will find homework and other assignment
information for my classes. Nothing fancy, just the facts. Please email me or come visit me if you have any
questions or concerns.
In most cases students have class time to begin these assignments in class.
In all my classes it is a standing assignment that students review their lecture notes,
reading notes, and homework questions for the current chapter for 10-15
minutes, Monday through Thursday, whenever another assignment has not been given.
U.S. History (8th Grade)
5/25/10 - Read p.474-479, do #5 on p.479.
5/26/10 - Read p.480-487. Guided Reading worksheet.
5/27/10 - Read p.490-497. Guided Reading worksheet.
Finish reading Chapter 16, p.498-512. Do #5 on p. 512. Test is June 4 (June 3 if you are in Safety Patrol).
World History (7th Grade)
5/24/10 - World War One, Chapter 23. Read p.662-665.
5/26/10 - World War Two. Read p.666-669, do #3 on p. 669.
Religion (8th grade)
5/27/10 - #1-5 on p.41. Chapter 3 Test is Tuesday.

on the report card the "People in Society" standard (used in the course of study) is the Culture
