Troop 16, Boy Scouts of America has been sponsored by Immaculate Conception Church for over 70 years. The program is for boys from age 11 to 17 years. It is not necessary to first be a Cub Scout to be become a Boy Scout. The boys operate their own program, guided by a Scoutmaster and a committee of other adults. The mission of the Boy Scouts is to develop leadership, character, and citzenship in each boy. The ultimate achievement is the rank of Eagle Scout. Troop meetings are held each Monday evening in rectory room A. Troop Committee meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month. Weekend campouts are held every month, a week of summer camp is held each July. Contact Parish/Troop liaison, Frank Ohlemacher (614-267-7793), Scoutmaster, Jerry Jones, or the parish office for more information.
